And beyond dispensing medications, they play a critical role in daily operations by assisting our pharmacists with services such as immunizations, health screenings, and medication therapy management. They are reliable, detail-oriented team players who care for patients as if they were family.

 

Publix Pharmacy is not an ordinary pharmacy like most competitors, working at Publix allows for consistent patient interaction on a personal level, not merely a prescription being sold. With the thousands of vaccines I have given ranging from the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, to Flucelvax and FluAD for the Flu, I have been able to make a difference within the Miami community effective vaccine administration to prevent severe disease development and hospitalization.

In addition, I have cultivated and propagated over ten other pharmacy technicians with the proper protocols of Pharmacy Laws and premier patient care. As an experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician, I have been a leader within 6 different Publix Pharmacies, and have been recognized and nominated numerous times by Pharmacists as a "Difference Maker" for providing tailored patient experiences.

Though Pharmacy is not my direct vocation, understanding the landscape of Pharmaceuticals, as well as the mechanisms of medication management for disease control and prevention, I have had the privilege of helping thousands of patients, whether that be a vaccine or patient comfort, I have upheld the standards of Publix Pharmacy, and their goal of providing the best patient premier service in the world.
